Chandlers Lodge B&B (once called Penclease) is the former home of the Wakefield family; Printers, Booksellers and Stationers to Camelford and the North of Cornwall.
Built circa 1880, the property was run as a boarding house for almost 100 years and though extensively changed over this period retains some of the original Victorian features.
For 30 years the property was part of a larger and much extended care home, but in 2014 was left empty and derelict until Rob and Natalie saw the opportunity to extensively and carefully renovate it back to it’s former days; the house is once again receiving guests.
